Everyday is a love day. A day to spread love.
Am not a big fan of 'allotting' a day for love, nonetheless, its a day of celebration. Celebration of love.
A day on which love is on everone's mind, in whichever form they know it, which they try to express and cherish in innumerable ways, some with a lot of flair and some in simple words. After all, its the day of Love.
I wonder, of a world where everyday is a love day and the person beside you is the one you love the deepest.
A different world it would be, where there is no you, there is no me, where the biggest delusion of "I" wouldn't exist.
Wow! Isn't that beautiful!
It was no fluke that The Beatles sang "All we need is love." Umm on second thoughts Swami Vivekananda said that. In-fact whole a lot of other great people and world's greatest religions and philosophies said the same thing.
"All we need is Love."
And on this day of celebration, I'd love to thank everyone who has ever given me love, in small packets to huge lumps, which I could hardly handle. :)
Right from the guy who gave me lift on that stranded road at midnight, last summer, to my mom. From the silliest childhood buddies to the my biggest sweethearts.
Thank you one and all.
And it would be blasphemous to not mention the person who made me realize what those four letters actually mean, Jessi. _/\_
